Summary and Analysis of Andrew Zimmerman and Martin Yan episodes Extra Credit

In the film Bizarre Food with Andrew Zimmerman, the feel is very documentary oriented. The video is very upbeat with a mission of educating the viewer about all different bizarre foods found in Sicily. The film consist of a 45 mins of Andrew going around Sicily and interviewing all different types of people and trying different foods. For me, I feel as if this episode is definitely geared more towards to people who are very interested in food and learning about different cultures foods strictly because of how in-depth Andrew Zimmerman goes in to it. Plus, the length of the episode.

In the film Martin Yan's Chinatnowns-Chinatown Market, the feel is still documentary oriented but, it is also geared towards tourist or people who just want a quick overview of food since it is aired on the food network. Martin Yan approach to this film is very different than Andrew Zimmerman. In all the interview Martin Yan speaks in Chinese and then later translates the conversation for the viewers giving his episode more cultural depth whereas, in Andrew Zimmerman it is a voice over. Also, this episode is actually filmed in America so, it is also geared to educate an American audience about a different culture. I feel as if Martin Yan's video probably has a wider audience since it is on the food network channel catering towards tourist and locals.
